Radical Unschoolers Network

the network for radical unschooling families

This morning I woke and herd a THUCK on the window above my head at first I thought it was a nut or something and I did not want to get out of my warm bed in the chilly morning. But my sister was curries so she went to investigate.

When she returned she was carrying a little gray bird it looked a little dazed but not hurt. She showed it to dad and he said to put it in something and see if it gets better. We put it in a bucket with hay and watched.

Before long it started to look around and move more and tried to fly out the window. We showed it to our brothers and asked dad to take a pitcher of it. than I took it outside.

I stood by the green pasture at the edge of the woods just turning gold and red. the sun was just about to peek over the treetops I spread out my hands and the bird took off flying into the sunrise
