Well, maybe not happiness....We are usually a really happy family so we don't really need to pursue it.

Yesterday we spent the afternoon watching LOTR Return of the King and B5 episodes. We had some great conversations about choices and why some individuals would be effected more than others by the ring. Everyone went to bed early, just pooped out and getting over a bug. Today it is back to the "norm".

I got up and vacuumed the Kitchen and LR floors. Checked email, put wreaths on our doors for Christmas and started laundry all before kids got up. The teen won't be up for a couple hrs yet. So it is still relatively quiet.

I am thinking of what we are going to do for the month of December. I found an interesting calendar that has daily info on them and December 1st is all about Rosa Parks. I have been on the bus, they have it at Greenfield Village. Makes me want to watch Hairspray again too.

I started a new project, this time for myself. I am making my first knit from the top down, cardigan sweater. I am designing things as I go using a basic pattern and adding special touches for the sleeves. I hope to make it look lovely and romantic. The yarn is gorgeous heather plum from Cascade. I have about 6 inches done so far and will get to work on it a bit this afternoon.

My middle son decided to rearrange the DVDs/ps2 games on the TV stand. He has counted them out, and is working on reorganizing them. He just said he was tired of not being able to find the games when he wanted and poof! Everything is on the floor while he rearranges. Good for him. I am sure it will look great when he is finished. What initiative too.
