Enjoying the process

I find the absolute most important thing is that children enjoy what he/she is learning and it not boring. I remember when I was in school, it was not fun at all. So, I didn't comprehend a thing. Once I had a choice to read what interests me, all of a sudden I understood what I read. Forced learning not the best approach for education.

My daughter gets to choose the program in any given subject. I never heard of this approach until she became a homeschooler now an unschooler by her choice. It is amazing how quickly she excelled and continuing on this path. I hope that all of you are enjoying the process.
