I'm procrastinating

Being in school again (community college) is taking its toll on me. I go in spurts of cramming and stalling. And the whole while I'm doing this back and forth dance I'm sick. I'm disgusted. I wish I could get back my love of learning that I have discovered since becoming a mother; especially an unschooling mother. I spend a lot of time trying to figure out how to do that AND pursue my AA degree...? In the meantime, my desk will be a source of photographic inspiration, even if the deadlines and due dates and tests are waiting... (I take an online algebra class and a 1x per week anthropology lab class; not a heavy load, esp when most of the homework is done when my children are sleeping or hanging out with dh)

Comment by Paige McKinney on April 27, 2009 at 11:46am: I'm learning to look at the clutter and mess in a positive way; part of our creative and fun-filled life. So I tried to literally shed a certain light on the clutter in the photo; I took it in RAW format for a richer feel. I think there is beauty in chaos, you just have to be at peace inside to find it. Much easier said than done when you're just starting out with that mindset--I consider 2 years just starting out for me.

Thank you for your kind words about the photo...I think it's still very amateurish, technically speaking. But I appreciate the feedback, helps me to appreciate the photo's 'heart'. I definitely want to take more pictures from that perspective.
