Exactly my first thought, too! Why if our government is so shy of money, do they keep coming up with ideas that are so unnecessary and wasteful? I just held this conversation with a young lady sitting outside of a popular store where she was collecting signatures trying to place an item on the next ballot. They want to have the polling jurisdiction lines re-configured to force the complete county into being perfectly balanced racially. As this is a very rural area surrounding a few small cities, achieving balance would be near impossible. Besides, what is needed in my area wouldn't be of any help to what's needed in a city area.

My first thought -- not about the merits of whether or not one believes in and trusts God -- is that I can't imagine the expense involved in changing all the places where that phrase now appears. Can our gov't really afford that in the current times?
