SL store and a website!

DD13 decided that with the SL money she got for the holidays she would start a store in SL to sell all the stuff she has been making. She first tried to find a store she could rent but there did not seem to be any she liked that would work for what she wanted. Then she decided to rent some land so she went shopping for some in a price range she could afford.

She found some land she liked and construction began after securing a deal with her father to ensure the continued coverage of her rent should initial sales not cover it.

Late last night DD6 decided she wanted a website. It was too late to get started last night so today I went to MSN groups to build her one as I don't really know how to officially build them. Turns out they are closing in Feb so we created a Multiply account for her instead. It seems to be much like myspace which concerns me but it does let us make a cute site easily and she can blog and upload photos and such. She had fun picking out the theme and avatar and writing her first blog entry. This will be a great place for her to share all the fun stuff she is doing with her extended family.
