Why did it take so long

Oh why did it take so long to find this group? I've been on the net since 1998. I've read about home schooling for about that long. I've read many blogs, websites and books about home school and unschool.
I ended up registering my child home school through the district.
However after a year, I I finally discovered Florida Unschoolers website. It had taken too long to find. I had anxiety just being registered with the district and worried about evaluations or testing. The kids stressed.

It has been about 2 years unschooling. (Under Florida Unschoolers)
2 years :-) That is how long it has taken for me to finally get led to Radical Unschoolers. :-(

I LOVE IT!
This site just isn't out there enough.

I'm sure there has to be other Unschoolers in my area of Jacksonville. I just can't seem to find them. Even with yahoo groups I find those way over on the west side or way out in Orange Park. I don't find them here.

Hi Fawn,
I just replied to an email from you. This is how I found you from this site. Like I said in my email I was so delighted to see unschooling and Jacksonville, Fl in the same sentence that I forgot how I got here. I hope all is well for you and your family until next time
