So I'm in a hotel room this morning, and visit your profile. All of a sudden my computer starts playing music. At first I thought it was some horrid commercial. But no, it's my favorite Pink Floyd song! ;>

Hola Joannette! Thanks for the friend request :) I found this site just today, so I am still updating my page. I enjoyed looking at the pictures of your family and look forward to reading more of your blogs, and those of other homeschooling families. I hope you and your loved ones are in good health...xoxo.
I am so happy to have found this website. It is so wonderful to so many people from Puerto Rico on here. I love your page and all the great pictures of your family!

Scary photo, that make-up thing! I kinda wish we had a way to comment directly on a photo. (Maybe there is one and I'm just slow to learn a new forum... I'm thinking MySpace.)
I'm going to leave your playlist open and listen to while I do other stuff. I love to find playlists!
Hi, Joannette. I tried to respond to a discussion you started, but the discussion disappeared into the ning ether. Here's my response:
It depends how much time I have and who is asking and what vibe I get from that person. If I'm in a hurry (rushing through the grocery store on the way to an appointment), I might not give a lot of information. If I'm in a coffee shop, talking to someone who really seems interested, I offer more information. I generally try not to tell people that we homeschool - because we don't. I either say "Ev's not in school" (appropriate if it's a quick interaction - often answering the question of what school she attends or grade she's in) or "we're unschoolers" (which either leads to additional questions or that person's assumption that we homeschool).
Hello again Joanette. I love the Sparticus outfit... boy would Karl love to do that. And the snorkeling looks divine. The water is so clear and blue. Your family is lovely.
I would love more vocabulary. More than that I would like to get fluent in Spanish. I should try some of the websites Betty mentioned and read them to get the flow of Spanish usage.
Hi. The reason I'm not saying much on my group http://groups.msn.com/aprendizajenatural/ is that people don't say much and I got tired of doing monologues but I keep it because is a good way to let people from Latinamerica know about Homeschooling and mainly about Unschooling. It was originated at http://groups.msn.com/Aprendizajenatural. Any way, the purpose of this group had it fruits: http://groups.msn.com/educacionpersonalizada/ and http://groups.msn.com/educacionpersonalizada/ . There were the Kathleen McCurdy's unschooling website http://familiaescolar.com/ but the msn NL group was the first group, so I'm proud to let know to latinamerican families the existance of learning freely as a family. Oops, now I see is you Sandra, you helped me a lot! Do you remember me, I'm Betty Polanco
Hi! Your boys remind me so much of mine! I'm going to try and post pictures. Another thing in common, I have been married for 18 yrs. Nice to "meet" you.
