I've certainly been in positions many times where $600 would have not been possible. But I think for most families it's just a matter of prioritizing. If it's a total cost of $600, you need to come up with $100 per month or $25 per week in order to have the money by May.

I can usually figure out a way to either make an extra $25 per week (pet sitting, selling some art, ??) or cut grocery expenses by that much if we make more from scratch.

There's still a lot of time!!

this response is to Carelia's post... set the intention that you will be there, and then believe, and expect that the monies will arrive when they need to :) That's how we got there, lol, but you can also figure out how much you need to set aside each month and do it that way!!

We would LOVE to make this one, especially since we missed the last Live and Learn this year. It all depends on finances at this point. Crossing my fingers for a successful coffee house season!!

OK, I am wondering how you guys AFFORD this! We're within driving distance (ie, no plane fares, but we can't "commute" daily either) but $600 for the hotel for the weekend kills it for us. :(

we had such a great time last year :) it was our first conference....and just an overall amazing experience! Can't wait to see you all there!
